| Objective |

Our objective is to provide districts and schools with a tool to easily evaluate school climate. The use of these surveys will establish baseline data to assess the school/district environmental climate. This survey will be the first step in meeting the new DASA requirements.

| About the Survey |
This tool will help schools/districts begin the process ensuring a positive school climate and culture. By providing baseline data, Staff will see areas that need careful attention so that effective strategies can be implemented. The tool will provide valuable information from the student, community and staff to enable a 360 degree look at the issue of positive school climate.
This survey is in usable and appropriate language so that it is easily used and translated. It is designed d in a way so that the information is easily and immediately developed into a report back to the school for immediate use. The survey provides baseline data and can be used an interval throughout the year to show added value.

Immediately, upon completion of the Survey, the school/district will have reports that present the data the data clearly and usefully. The reports will provide immediate information so that the school/district may begin important next steps.

Once the data is in your hands, Educational Vistas can provide the expertise and support needed to start building strong and positive school climates. This will provide the district with an immediate start to meeting the new DASA Law and improve school environment needed to support strong academic results.

EVI in concert with Sage College will recommend the areas to be strengthened and provide a plan of action. This will enable the district to most effectively begin the needed work of creating an environment where all students feel safe and respected.
